I am a CCD (Community Cultural Development) practitioner, painter, drawer, video artist, and tutor.

I have worked with community groups to facilitate the creation of murals, theatre, sculpture, exhibitions, and arts events. I believe art has the power to transform lives and communities in profound ways.

As an artist I exhibit artworks regularly, have performed live animations at numerous festivals and events nationwide. My video work has screened in many places internationally.I create video for dance and theatre shows and recently produced animations for WOW (World of Wearable Art). My illustration has been published locally and internationally. My drawings have featured in magazine editorials, art books, album covers, billboards and posters, art and design magazines and on numerous online art and design portals.

As a tutor, I have a strong interest in working with artists who are on the fringes of our society. I have worked with artists with physical and intellectual disabilities at Panacea (now Spark Studios), as well as working with artists at Pablos Art Studios who have experienced mental illnesses. I ran art classes at Rimutaka Prison and Wellington Prison for 6 years. I have also been a tutor at Toi Whakaari New Zealand Drama School and Massey University in Wellington.
